School Day Out 2019 in Images

We begin each school year by taking the first Friday to build community by playing, eating and relaxing together.

The time allows for laugher and fun and building new friendships, setting a tone for our year together. Since the 1950s, at least, the entire high school has spent the day at Highland Retreat in Bergton, Virginia.

Our middle school students have spent time in various locations. This year, they were on campus, enjoying outdoor games until the weather kept them in for crafts, board games and other activities.

Rain definitely did not dampen enthusiasm and participation in School Day Out 2019.
