Celebrating Seniors at the Homecoming Games
As we gathered for the homecoming varsity soccer and volleyball games at Eastern Mennonite School, a palpable sense of pride filled the air. We celebrated our Eastern Mennonite athletes, not only for their impressive skills on the field/court/pitch but also for the incredible individuals they are off it.
At Eastern Mennonite School, we believe that athletics is about more than just winning games. It’s about instilling Christian values and essential life skills that our student-athletes will carry with them long after their school days. Through their athletic journeys, our students learn valuable lessons in teamwork, self-discipline, and leadership. These core values are woven into every practice, game, and team meeting, fostering an environment where students can grow both as athletes and as individuals.
The Eastern Mennonite School Athletic Department led by Mr. Andrew Gascho, Athletic Director, alongside our dedicated coaching staff and supportive parents, is committed to developing our student-athletes’ abilities while ensuring a positive and enriching team experience. As we reflect on the accomplishments of our senior athletes, let us remember that their journey is just beginning. The lessons learned on the field will serve them well in all aspects of life, and we are excited to see where their paths will lead them.
To all our senior athletes and their families—thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the values you promote. We are proud to stand behind you and cheer you on.
