EMS joins the Giving Tuesday Movement
This year, our school is proud to participate in the online global generosity movement known as “Giving Tuesday,” which will take place on Tuesday, December 4. This initiative aligns with our Christmas Fund Drive, where every donation made on #GivingTuesday will directly benefit the Flames Fund. From Thanksgiving Day through December 3, we invite you to follow us on Instagram and Facebook and engage with inspiring videos, quotes, photos, and interviews that showcase the profound impact of your generosity.
#GivingTuesday, is a global movement that began in 2012 as a response to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It was created by the team at the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact in New York City. The idea was to harness the power of social media and collaboration to inspire millions of people across the world to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

You’re invited to a delightful afternoon in the EMS Dining Hall on Tuesday, December 3, 3-5 pm to celebrate the spirit of generosity at EMS! We wish to extend a heartfelt “thank you!” to our community. Giving Tuesday is the perfect occasion for us to express our gratitude to you, our cherished donors and friends. Our Christmas Fund Drive Student Leadership Team and Advancement Team would love to host you at a casual, drop-in gathering to convey our sincere thanks for your caring and generous support. Come and mingle with our students and educators as they craft postcards for Christmas Fund Drive and invite you to partake in the joyous festivities (volunteer writers and stampers welcome too!).
