Wait, Watch, Wonder: Christmas Concerts

Every Christmas, our learning community comes together to sing and celebrate. Join us! All programs will take place in the auditorium behind the upper building at 801 Parkwood Drive, Harrisonburg.

Join us to embrace the Christmas sounds of the season – All are welcome!
Concerts are in the auditorium, located behind the upper building.

Thursday, December 5, 7 pm – Haydn’s Creation Choral Concert. A Christmas worship service featuring singers from EMHS Touring Choir, Concert Choir, and Middle School Chorale. Directed by Mr. Jared Stutzman

Thursday, December 12, 6:30 pm – Elementary School Choral Concert. A Christmas program featuring song with dance and musical instruments of the season. Directed by Ms. Joy Anderson

Tuesday, December 17, 7 pm – High School Instrumental Concert. EMHS Band, Strings, and Jazz Band. Directed by Mr. Nick Gardner

Thursday, December 19, 7 pm – Middle School Instrumental Concert with 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade musicians. Band and Strings. Directed by Maria Lorcas

What inspires you? 

The Christmas theme of Wait. Watch. Wonder was inspired by the Elementary School’s weekly gathering theme this year. Looking for Change: We Wait, We Watch, We Wonder. Our new Flames Fund asks a question that feeds into this theme: what inspires you? We celebrate a tradition of generous giving thru Christmas Fund Drive that has inspires our community.
