Christmas Fund Drive

What inspires you?

The 2024-2025 Christmas Fund Drive invites supporters and students to come together to reach our goal of $150,000!
Join hundreds of other supporters and make a gift here.

Funds raised during this drive support our Flames Fund, with the opportunity to give to what inspires you: student enrichment, educator excellence, campus and facilities, core values, or overall support for our mission - where needed most.  Gifts can be applied towards a student's fundraising goal (an average of $583 per student this year), our $150,000 fund drive goal, and the broader Flames Fund goal! It's amazing what happens when people come together for causes they care about.

A tradition that continues to grow. EMS celebrates our 76th year of the Christmas fund drive. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have been supporters of this initiative. It is the dedication of both our students and the community who generously contribute that enables EMS to thrive. Your gifts helped our community feel strong through the experience of raising funds together. Read more about the history!

When you give, you join more than 600 generous donors who give annually to the drive to support faculty and staff, student financial aid, and other mission-supporting efforts.

Thank you for responding warmly to students who invite you to support their personal goals for the drive!

She loves writing those postcards!  We both are advocates of causes and communities that we believe in – EMS is among those at the top of our list. I love how much she cares about being a student at EMS.  She feels valued, connected, and respected for who she is.  Thanks for your part in helping to shape and steward the values of the EMS community.

Why did you give?

"We continue to give because we want other students to have the same experience at EMS that our son did."
Mother of '93 alum.

My kids are so happy to be attending EMS! They love being able to be with their friends. It makes a big different for them to have interactive learning which gives them a sense of community and support." -Melinda, 6th and 9th grade parent.

EMS is a truly unique place and such important, lifegiving things are happening there. It’s a privilege to be able to offer what support we can. Thank you for all you do to enable the success of the school. - Parent of alumni children and board member

Dorothy Shank with grandson Levi

Dorothy Shank, with her great-grandson Levi remembers, “EMHS helped to set the course of my life. I’ve had a very keen interest in what happens at EMHS, and I still believe in it. My prayer for my grandchildren and EMS students is that they grow up to be men and women of God, learning how to be followers of Jesus.”

Students grow in their understanding of stewardship -- one of our faith practices. Our culture of generosity includes service days, recognizing our own gifts, and finding ways to bless others.
