Senior Class to Present Literari Awards
The class of 2019 will present The Literati Awards, by Claire Epstein and Ian McWethy, March 8 & 9, 7:30 p.m. at the EMS auditorium as part of the 2019 Senior Parent Weekend activities. The show is open to the public.
In this comedy, classic literary characters get a showbiz twist. Bright stars of classic literature come together for an awards show and display surprising behavior. Romeo, Sherlock Holmes, Gollum (J.R.R. Tolkien), Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice), and Holden Caulfield (The Cather in the Rye) are among those who walk the red carpet. Who will win the award for The Greatest Literary Character of All Time?
General admission tickets go on sale February 18. Cost is $7 adults, $5 students/senior citizens.
