Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Greenville University in Illinois; teaching certification at Western Kentucky University. Ongoing professional development and graduate studies.
Interests
I enjoy literature, history, natural history and birdwatching, cleaning cupboards and taking loads of stuff to thrift stores at least once a year. And reading while pursuing all of the above!
Family
My husband, John, and I have three young adult children: Jonathan, Hannah, and Michael '11. John teaches physics and chemistry at Fishburne Military School.
Community involvement
I taught for a total of 14 years at international schools in Taiwan and The Philippines. I've got stories!
